Ice
Carving, Chocolate, Butter and
Salt Dough
Donald has been carving ice and other media for 23 years.
He has trained with Mentor Ralph Rosenthal at the MFA Art
School. Donald advanced his ice-carving career while employed
at the Hilton International in Vienna, Austria, and the Noga
Hilton in Geneva, Switzerland. He later returned to the States
working part-time at Brookline Ice and Coal and the IceBox
in Boston, Massachusetts. In 1986 Donald was invited to participate
in First Night, a large New Year's celebration that transforms
downtown Boston into a large festival with over 350 events.
Donald now focuses his sculpting talents on his annual First
Night sculpture.
Donald's sculptures have been seen on Good Morning America,
on local Television and annually featured on the front pages
of the Boston Globe and Boston Herald. If you are planning
an event and want a different marketing angle, look no further.
Culinary Matters can provide extravagant and spectacular installations
as a promotional opportunity for your company or outdoor event.

For events North of Boston, Donald is also available to carve
for your functions, weddings or holiday party. |
